Avis Claims to do offline payments using key entry. Avis has no external connection. Their Systems can not connect to the outside world. The payment confirmation in the receipt is not correct as it is being authorized by the Avis Simulator.
Avis Architecture was never implemented
The above picture depicts the proposed Avis architecture. Note that Avis did not implement the infrastructure. Currently Avis bank does not have a proper production environment. Their systems are run using 1 environment and that environment does act as a testing environment as well.
POS Control Center Worked Internally
The Above is the POS management for Avis. Note that this only worked for Avis internally only as Avis has no external connection. They may try to convince you that its live but its not.
Avis Is Not Capable Of Issuing Cards
Avis bank had their cards that they claim would perform high volume transaction. Avis bank did not have their bin registered , thus meant they can not issue cards.
